Fitbit charge 5 stopped working

My Fitbit charge just died on me! Dead as a door nail. Tried several chargers from friends, nothing. Was at 21%. Put it on charge. Charged to 39%. Then completely died!! No lights! Nothing!! This is less than 2 years old. Bought from Amazon. Does anyone know who we approach as it is still in warranty? Thanks

Read through the comments in this community forum - you are experiencing the same thing many, many others have with their Charge in the last couple of weeks. Fitibt will tell you to jump through a number of hoops to try to reset your device, none of which will work but the problem seems to stem from an update they did that has sabotaged all of our fitbits. If yours is still within warranty they may replace it but if not you're out of luck because the company is doing nothing.

Thanks Mariola

Yes done all the things they and everyone else suggests! Trouble is I can’t get it to wake up? It does buzz slightly when I attach the charger but nothing on screen. No green light flashing on the back, just nothing??

Do you know who we contact for warranty replacement. They don’t seem to advertise it anywhere to apply?

thanks again for you time🙂

No, they don't make it easy, do they? On the app click on your initial in
the upper right hand corner. Then click on help. In the help screen click
help center. In the help center, scroll all the way down and there should
be a contact us option. Good luck. Hope yours is under warranty Mine died
literally 3 days after and they offered me 35% off a new product, which I
found unacceptable because it was their software update that destroyed the
function of the device, not normal wear and tear. I've been a fitbit user
for 10 years so I've replaced devices before for that reason. I'm opposed
to doing so because the company's actions made my device fail.
