Fitbit stopped after 6 months

Hi. I purchased a Fitbit charge 5 for my wife on Amazon July 10, 2022. Yesterday, (December 13, 2022) the Fitbit went dark. It won’t charge. I have swapped out plugs and get no response. My charge 5 still charges on same plugs

 

i attempted to use the return tool, but it doesn’t recognize my Amazon order number.

 

help please

I'm sad to hear that your wife's Charge 5 isn't working properly. I'd suggest trying to restart it by following these instructions:

1.) Connect your wife's Charge 5 to the charging cable which has to be connected to a power source.
2.) Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times within 8 seconds, holding each press for about 1 second.
3.) Wait around 10 seconds to see if the Fitbit logo appears.

If this doesn't help to get your wife's Charge 5 up and running again, please contact Fitbit support as your wife's Charge 5 is covered by Fitbit's warranty:

Hi, 

I have the same problem, however I cannot see a button on the charger - how can you reset it without a button?

Hi, @Louhendrix , below a picture of where to find the button on the Charge 5 charger.  If you are using the charging cord supplied with your Fitbit it will be there.  However if you have bought a third party replacement charger it may not have the button.
