Floors climbed never tracked

The day I got my new tracker the charge 5 has never picked up floors climbed. I have stairs in my house and work on my feet where I climb stairs and scaffolds and it’s never picked it up what could the issue be. The tracker is brand new

I'm afraid the Charge 5 wasn't designed to track floors - they left out the necessary sensor.

Yes I have just seen reviews stating that the altimeter and the weather app are not present. This is more for Fitbit but not having the Altimeter has stopped my purchase of the Charge 5! I'm sticking to my Charge 4, living in the mountains and the fact it has been in all the previous versions. 

Now they have been bought by Google perhaps they might put it back in.

Would have been good to know before I bought it! So much for an ‘upgrade’……
