I upgrade my Fitbit charge 2 to Charge 5 for Christmas 2021. I like to track floors on my charge 2!!. When I got new Fitbit charge 5 for Christmas 2021 I see I didn't have the floors :(. I like to get floors on my Fitbit charge 5 to track it.

Charge 5 does not track floors climbed; it does not include the hardware altimeter so could not be added with firmware update.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

That's too bad. I like to track floors. Thank you for update.

I also just upgraded from Charge 2 to 5 and am not sold on the new model. I didn't realize they had taken away that feature either.

Exactly the same - I also upgraded from charge 2 to charge 5 and was surprised to see this feature removed. When upgrading, there is a tendency to look at new features and assume that the old ones remain !

Hi everyone, thank you for all the information and feedback that you've provided about the Charge 5 and the option to track floors.

As you all mentioned earlier, this device does not include the option to track floors. The Charge 5 includes many of the features available with Fitbit smartwatches at a more accessible price, but the option to track floors wasn't included with this specific device. You can find all the features available with this tracker on the Charge 5 Product Manual and on the Fitbit Store

Thank you again for sharing all your comments and your experience with this; this is always useful to continue to improving the quality of products and services. Although the possibility to include this feature on the Charge 5 is Not Currently Planned, as this device does not include an altimeter, I do recommend that you vote for these ideas posted in the Community forums to show your support for these features and alternatives:

This is helpful for the team of developers to continue to track popularity and demand over time.

Have a good day.
