I just switched from a Charge 3 to a Charge 5 and the heart rate zone numbers jumped up and the math does not match up with the info I found about how each zone is calculated.
I am 55 so 220-55=165
Peak would be 140-165
Cardio would be 116-139
Fat Burn would be 83-114
However, my new Charge 5 has these numbers:
What am I missing?
(And yes, my birthday is entered correctly)

Hello @Whooosh
The Charge 5 also calculates the Zones based on your Resting Heart Rate (measured when you’re asleep) and the numbers for the Zones change based on that too.
in my case, the lower my Resting Heart Rate, the lower the numbers, and the opposite is true for higher rates.
It measures it slightly differently from the Charge 3. If you tap on Resting Heart Rate and Learn More, it gives more information. I was hoping to post a link but couldn’t sorry.
Sorry the end is missing, but hopefully you can still get the idea.
I hope that helps a bit.

OK, I understand the calculation now. Thanks!
