Heart pulse on screen

Not sure if this is the correct forum...  I have the Charge 5 and was wondering about the little heart symbol on the home display.  Normally it just sits there with the heartrate displayed underneath.  However, some times in actually pulses.  I don't know if it actually pulses with my heart beats, or just a fixed rate.

So what does the pulsing mean??  I'm a recovering heart patient and use the Charge 5 to monitor my heart.

Hi @Jytek  your post was moved to the Charge 5 area of the forum for more relevant responses. I have the Luxe. When I see the heart rate pulsing, it's the current reading. The pulsing isn't a fixed rate.
