Heart rate not sync Apple health

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Since changing from previous Charge, the daily heart rate is not being synced to Apple Health. It stopped the day I moved to the Charge 5.
looked in manual, help forums but no answer.

I use AutoSync App to sync between Fitbit and Apple.
Charge5 is uptodate with Firmware.

Hi, welcome to the Community forums, @Spks

Thank you for sharing that you've experiencing this inconvenience with your heart rate.

I was able to verify that although Fitbit and Apple Health can work together, they need some help from a third-party apps like the one you mentioned. However, since Fitbit doesn't have a direct integration with Apple Health, it wouldn't be possible to perform troubleshooting steps like the ones used with other apps, like unpairing and paring again both apps (but you can try this procedure with AutoSync App instead).

In this case, if you continue to have the same inconvenience, I recommend that you get in touch with the Support team of the third party app you mentioned earlier to check if there's any problem on their behalf to sync this information. In addition, please consider voting for this idea posted in the Feature Suggestion board of the Community: Integrate with iOS Health

Have a great day.

Thank you for your feedback about the Fitbit Charge 5 and issues syncing heart rate day data through third-party PowerSync.

I have unloaded, resynced, and checked the heart rate with Apple Health. Still, no data since I registered my new Charge 5 just after release.

Seems PowerSync and Fitbit will blame each other - not unusual in today's tech times. But simply put the API call is not cross-checking the data sets between Charge 5 and Power sync. So has Fitbit changed the API call for the Charge 5, which then prevents Power Sync from bringing the data over?

All other data seems to be fine.

Your views and passing to your technical/development team would be appreciated.

I have checked the online suggestions and see Fitbit haven't changed their position since 2014 on creating Sync direct to Apple Health. Guess that's all about costs and challenges between Google and Apple. Sad.

@Spks Thank you for your reply and for sharing these extra details.

I don't believe there has been a change on the API call, since all other data is syncing properly. The Fitbi API is open and in this case it would be necessary to check with the third party app for further troubleshooting steps. However, there is specific board where you can ask API related questions to the developers. You can post your question here to see if there have been any changes, as you mentioned.

Have a great day.
