It would be great to have the heart rate notifications work while you are active and during an exercise. I bought the Charge 5 thinking that’s what it meant by notifications and setting your target zones and sadly I was mislead. It makes no sense to notify me while I am inactive. That’s like having a smoke alarm that tells you there’s a fire after your house has been burned down.

Hi, welcome to the Community forums, @CJ2041.
Thank you for sharing all your feedback about this feature with the Charge 5.
I recommend that you vote for this idea posted in the Feature Suggestion board of the Community, since this section is regularly monitored by the team of developers for possible implementations in the future: Include high/low heart rate notifications during exercise.
This is always helpful for the team of developers to continue to track popularity and demand over time. Thanks again for sharing all your feedback and comments.
Have a great day.
