I swim with my family in a heated pool near our home and I was just wondering if it would be ok to wear my charge 5 while swimming. It is not a hot tub and does not reach temperatures of a hot tub.

You should be able to wear it in a pool since the Watch is water resistant up to 50 meters.

I know I can wear it in the pool, I’m just concerned about the heat of the water possibly damaging my device

I accidentally wore my Fitbit in the hot tub about 2 months ago and it is still working fine,
so since your going to wear it in a heated pool not a hot tub you should be fine.
But remember it is different for each person, I could have just gotten lucky when I wore my fitbit to the hot tub, but based on my experience,
you should be fine to wear the Watch to a heated pool

Oh and just a heads up, the Fitbit that I wore to the hot tub was the charge 4.
but since the charge 5 is newer it should be the same or even better than my watch at handling the pool

@BillyNeedsSleep The maximum operating temperature for the Charge 5 is 115° F or 45° C. I hope this helps.
