How do I unlock Charge 5 screen during exercise?

A potentially great feature of the Charge 5 is the ability to manipulate multimedia apps on your phone through the tracker Notification Screen. This means you can Pause, Fast Forward or Rewind  films, music or podcasts without fishing out your phone (or using fancy headphones with those remote capabilities).

But...

Once I have started an Exercise session, I can see no way to momentarily leave the Exercise Screen and get to the Notification Screen where I can use those useful controls without ending my activity completely.

Am I missing something obvious? Or is this a bug?

PS I know that if the "Notifications while exercising" option is on, Fitbit will switch screens automatically if you receive a text or whatever during an exercise session (you have no control over this), so if this is a bug, it is definitely fixable...

Hi there, @Cut. It's good to see you here.

Thanks for the detailed information, and explaining the model of your mobile devices. Let me explain currently it's not possible to access other apps or features on your Charge 5 while tracking an exercise. I understand how helpful it'd be to have this function available and my best advice is to support this idea posted in the Feature Suggestions boardThe more votes an idea receives, the better chance it has of getting the attention of the developers.

I appreciate your feedback and we'll keep working to improve the Fitbit experience.
