How do you set up battery notifications on Charge 5 after the Fitbit app update?

Since the newest app update and we've lost the ability to have the battery percentage on the "today" page of the app, is there a way to set up any kind of alert--email, text, or other--for low battery power? I have a Charge 5. I have an Android phone, not Apple.

Hello @SallyHop

To set up notifications for low battery, as well as check your other notifications,

  • Tap on your picture/icon in the upper right
  • In the popup menu, tap Fitbit settings
  • Tap on Notifications to open the page
  • Confirm or toggle on Low Battery notification in the first section. These are push notifications to your device. You can toggle on or off any other listed Notifications
  • Swipe up to Email notifications and confirm/toggle on Low Battery. Toggle on or off any other listed notifications that would go to your email.

Just to let you know, the Fitbit team has been made aware of the missing % battery in the updated app. We are hoping that this much used and needed info will be re-instated in the app soon, along with real time heart rate and the ability to edit the name of a workout.

Thanks! I've got both of those turned on. Hopefully, that will help until they fix this in the app.
