A week ago I decided to walk using 'dynamic GPS'. After the walk I see a map of my walk but I also noticed my battery was drained faster than usual.
So I changed the GPS to 'phone'
I walked again today but the map GPS didnt show up. Changed it to 'dynamic' again and decided to walk and the map of my walk showed up again.
So I guess the culprit is the 'phone' GPS.
How do I show up the map of my walk when using phone GPS?

@iamCHESS It sounds like you missed a setting on your phone. Dynamic GPS is supposed to preferentially use your phone if it is nearby. If your fast battery drain was from the Charge 5, then it sounds like it used built in GPS and didn't connect to the phone's GPS. I don't have my Charge 5 on my account right now. My Versa 3 only has built in GPS -- I have seen a 10% battery drop per hour when using GPS.

Ok I may have seen the wrong "gps settings". Regardless, I still want to see the 'map gps' when using phone only.
Also to connect the phone to the fitbit, are there any extra steps other than turning on bluetooth? I may have accidentally turn it off thats why it didnt connect?
Im gonna have to give that another try.

@iamCHESS The phone's Bluetooth must be on. There is a path on the mobile app that will get you to a lot of information about your Charge 5. If you tap on your profile avatar > your Charge 5 tile > tap on the bright pink How to Use. If you need it, there is a link to the Charge 5 manual at the very bottom of the page.

I figured out why my battery was draining so fast... Apparently after using my device with any GPS setting, even after its done its still using the GPS mode.
https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2004.htm
"We’re aware of a battery drain issue affecting some Charge 5 devices in which the built-in GPS chip may remain active after ending a GPS-enabled exercise. We’re working on an update to fix the issue."
So after using it, a couple of hours (5 hours +) later my battery drops by %30, its because of that bug.
So after using the GPS, I just restart the device and viola! No more %30 drop after! Only about %3-%5 drop!
Now regarding the map issue, it looks like its not going to show up at all with 'phone gps'...
I used 'dynamic gps' with my phone with me and without the phone with me and the map showed up. Now using 'phone gps' with or without phone, the map doesnt show up...
