How to shut down Fitbit charge 5

Just bought a new fitbit charge 5 and enjoying the experience of discovering a beautiful feature rich tracker. Just cant figure out how to shut it down completely (can be occasions when one wants to). The only options are to restart/reset. Would be greatful if someone can help me out. Thanks

Only some fitbit models can be turned off and I'm afraid the Charge 5 is not one of them. See: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1257.htm

The Charge 5 can be restarted while connected to the charger by pressing the small button on the flat end of the charger.
