My Fitbit 5 stopped tracking my distance. It still counts steps and all. I have over 22000 steps today, but it shows (both on the watch and the app) that I walked less than 1 km. I have tried resetting the app and the watch several times, but the problem continues. any idea what could be the cause?
Moderator edit: clarified subject.

Mine just started doing the same thing. Very frustrating and no clear guidance on how to fix it.

Hi @daralp @CAE41. Welcome to the community forums.
Thank you for sharing the inquiry regarding this inconvenience with the Charge 5.
Please confirm that you tried the restart as indicated here below:
Swipe down from the clock screen to find the Settings app. Open the Settings app: Restart Device> Restart.
If you already tried the previous restart, try this other one:

There is currently a bug that is causing some Fitbit devices to stop tracking distance. The team is aware of the issue.
One user noticed that their device started tracking distance after they disabled automatic stride and manually set a stride length. This workaround has been success for some users. If you would like to try this workaround, this help article has the steps on how to manually set your stride length (<-- click link)
Hopefully, it won't take too long to fix the issue so we don't have to use a workaround.
