Ignore auto exercise not working

So I have "run" "ignored" as an auo-recognized activity in both the app and my dashboard yet it still starts recording EVERY TIME. It's irritating because the GPS is so inaccurate it can't actually be used as a running device and it drains my battery for no reason on my longer runs. How do I get it to stop?

The Charge 5 has a Run Detect feature that will start a run, if detected.  This is different from the auto recognized run choice that you marked ignored.  I haven’t navigated through the Charge 5 recently.  Look in the settings in the Run shortcut on the Charge 5 itself, the same path where you can set a goal.  If not there, look at your Run exercise shortcut in your Fitbit app.  Look for a “>” at the right.  It might be there.

Thanks!!!! I actually just took it off the shortcuts completely. I'm not sure why I even had it there since I never use that profile. We'll see on tomorrow's run if that helped! 🙏🤞

That feature is actually on by default.
