Inaccurate Distance when using the walk function.

When I use the Walk function, it seems to be inaccurate by ~25%, the walk in question is ~3.8 km (steps ~4,200), which the old Charge 4 had no issues with, however, the Charge 5 only records 2.9km (steps ~3,500).
I've checked the distance on Google Maps / Drove the route. 

Is this a common issue? 

Can it be Fixed?

I'm experiencing inaccurate recorded distance for both running and swimming.

Emails to/from support team does not help at all, it's been 2 months since I've reported the issue and has not been resolve, my thread is now being lock

Have you checked the map of your activity? Is it very rough and inaccurate?

I find the GPS on the Charge 5 itself is quite poor, sometimes to the point of it being unusable. It's better to use your phone's GPS by tracking the activity from the app.
