Hello Fitbit community,
Has the readability of the Charge in sunlight improved at all with version 5? I've had my Charge 4 for a number of years now and my main complaint is that it is completely unusable in sunlight. My band needs replaced again so I thought I'd consider an upgrade or switching devices to something I can read.
Thanks!

Hello @DigitalHI
I just went outside to double check the readability of my Charge 5 in bright sunlight before responding to you. To me, my Charge 5 is very clear & readable. I was able to easily read all the values on the clock face and on the various tiles. I think that Charge 5's color display helps with being able to read the screen in the sun. You can easily change the brightness level, if needed.
Just be aware that the Charge 5 does not track stairs, in case that's a feature you use. You might want to do some additional research to look at all the differences between the Charge 4 & Charge 5 before making a decision.

@DigitalHI the Charge 5 has a color display. It is much easier to read than the monochrome display on the Charge 4. I've never had trouble reading mine and I live at high altitude, where the sun is very, very bright.
