Is there a way to correct total swimming distance?

I have been swimming whit my charge 5. And have noticed that it 2/5 times doesn't calculate the total distance right.

Like, one of the days I swam 1500m and the fitbit had calculated a total of 1125m. Or another day I swam 1300m and it calculated it to 1025m.

And I didn't have any "long stops" in between distances or anything like that.

So is there even possible to correct the distance in the app afterwards when these things happen?

I gave up with the swimming option and just use workout now.  Once I'm done I create a manual entry for Swim using the start time or the workout, time taken for workout and then add the distance I did (either 1000m or 1610).  I then just delete the workout.

Hello @Sukizu

It’s usually possible to edit an Exercise Log in the App on your phone.

Tap on the Exercise session you want to edit.  Tap on the 3 dots at the top right corner of the screen and select Edit Exercise Details.  It should give you options for the start and end time and hopefully distance.

I hope that helps a bit.

Sadly it looks like it don't work that way...
Have tried doing it in two different ways.

- Start the "swim" activity with the charge 5 when I start, and then finish it when I'm done.

This results in that i don't even get the "pen"/edit function in the app for that session.

- Let it start by it self with the auto recognize

This gives me the the "pen"/edit function for that session, but everything is still locked and cant be changed.

So i guess the only way for me to input the session and getting the distance right is to delete the recorded session and then enter everything manually 😞
