I had a Charge 5 which was replaced because the screen would decide to die of it's own accord. The device had the latest software update that allowed me to install the newest clock faces - Juxtaposed, Bitfrost, Brisk & Glimpse. The last of these being my favourite. My replacement Charge 5 is still on the old software version and if I try to download any of the aforementioned faces I'm presented with a notification saying 'Not Available' - 'To install this clock, make sure the Fitbit app on your phone and your Fitbit device have the latest update'. The app is up to date but no sign of any update coming through on the watch. I've been in touch with customer support on a couple of occasions to be told I should wait for an app update to fix the issue but a few app updates later nothings changed. In my last conversation I was told it was an app issue and that he would flag it with the developers. That was a few weeks ago. It's strange that my old Charge 5 was able to download the latest software update and have all the clock faces in the gallery available for installation. Any thoughts or suggestions for this one? P.S. I've uninstalled & reinstalled the app, rebooted the watch and phone but still no software update coming through.

I'm not sure what's going on with the last Charge 5 firmware update, which includes the new clock faces. The Fitbit app updates won't provide the new clock faces. Those are only available with the firmware update.
At one point, it seemed that the rollout of the update had been paused. However, I've seen recent user reports that they got the 194 firmware update.
There used to be a pinned Moderator post about the 194 firmware update, but it appears that post is no longer pinned.
My Charge 5 is still on the previous firmware version 188.
The only thing I can tell is to keep monitoring the Fitbit app. It will let you know if & when the Charge 5 firmware update is available for you to install.

Same here. Still 188 firmware, so signs of 194 (except on wife's Luxe). Are they even working on it? Be nice to have more faces, and readiness score that's supposed to come with an update. I read all the negative posts, but my 5 has been flawless for 2 years (other than one or two fast battery drains), but I've always gotten 7-8 days. Sleep scores seem very accurate, the main reason I have it.

I haven't seen any information if there's going to be any further firmware updates for the Charge 5. I would like to update my Charge 5 as well.
PS: I like your avatar. I fondly remember watching Top Cat cartoons.
