I fully expect to hike longer than the battery will last while actively using GPS.
What im wondering is, can i connect to a power-bank and continue hiking while the device is actively charging and actively track my hiking route via GPS simultaneously?
TIA

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @HarryLloyd.
Thank you for sharing your inquiry about the Charge 5.
I just tested this on my Charge 5 and tracked a GPS activity while it was charging. The device continued to charge without any problem while my activity was being recorded. Once you connect the device to the charger, you'll see the percentage of battery in the middle of the screen; just swipe right to go back to the exercise screen (the battery will continue to recharge). Disconnecting it from the charging cable does not stop the exercise recording either.
Hope this helps, I'll be around.
