The time between when I receive the low battery notification and when the battery is drained is absurdly short (particularly when compared to my old Charge 2 - which could go for at least another day following the warning). As an example, I received an email notification at 6:23 am this morning giving me the low battery warning, and the watch was dead before 7. Is there a way to direct the timing of the notification? Thank you.

Hi, thank you for sharing your inquiry about the Charge 5 and the low battery notification, @hornets66.
This low battery alert is supposed to give you a push notification at around 20-25% charge. If you have it on, try toggling it off, then back on. In addition, let me know if you're experiencing any problem with the battery draining too fast. Is the battery draining in a couple of days? Are you using any feature that could cause the battery to be draining faster?
In the meantime, you can also try restarting your device using the charging cable and check if you continue to experience the same behavior. Unfortunately it's not possible to adjust the time in which the low battery notification is sent. It will be sent when battery level is around 25%.
I'll be around.

@hornets66 @DavideFitbit I've been using Charge 5 for a couple of months now and I've *never* received a low battery warning, not on screen, no email, no app notification. I only notice my battery level if I check it on screen myself or -obviously- when the battery dies 🙄 I checked all the settings, on device itself, on the app, on my dashboard, everywhere I can see, low battery notifications are ON. This is one of the many issues I've been having with Charge 5, it's unbelievable how many things that's been working perfectly on Charge 4 went wrong in 5.
My device has been restarted several times, set-up as new device a couple of times and updated to the latest firmware. Nothing seems to solve the problems.

I have the same issue and I checked notification. Push and email notifications are on but I don’t get any low battery message.

What’s a bit goofy imo, is that the alert comes to my email as opposed to the device itself. It would be way more useful if there was a notification that came right to the face of the device.

Hi everyone, thanks for confirming that you're having this inconvenience with your Charge 5.
If you haven't done so already, please try disabling the option to receive low battery notifications on the Fitbit app, then turn it back on and sync your Charge to save the changes, then check if you continue to have the same problem.
In this case, if you already tried the restart procedure with the charging cable or the other steps mentioned and you continue to experience the same problem, I recommend that you get in touch with the Customer Support team for further assistance with this. They will let you know how to proceed.
The best way to get help for this problem is to chat with us online or give us a call. Click here to get connected.
See you around.
