More active minutes in exercise mode

I accidentally left exercise mode (yoga) “on” for a few hours after I’d finished and went about my day. It recorded 400 zone minutes. Way more than I usually get in a day.

why is this?

Maybe I should just stay in exercise mode all day long as it seems to pick up everything - way more than in standard watch mode!

make me realise how much is being missed when I’ve not specified I’m doing “exercise”. Ie just normal day to day stuff. This is a bit crap if you ask me!

I can’t answer why but I know that what you are saying is true I started wearing Fitbit on a clip attached to my collar ( neckline). twice now I have forgotten to finish exercise mode ( stair climber) for over an hour when exercise time was actually 15 minutes. both times I earned hundreds of zone points. I believe that the numbers are inflated. Apple Watch shows heart rate during this exercise as 85, Fitbit at 145. Apple Watch was a Christmas gift. I do believe the step count is better w Fitbit
