My Fitbit Charge 5 will not start

My fitbit charge 5 won't start.

This Friday I puted my Fitbit charge 5 to the charger and during the charge something happend. Now only the Fitbit logo shows, as if Charge 5 is trying to start  but can't. 

I've tried to restart it  but it doesn't work.

Any ideas?

I’m having the same problem. It started yesterday and worked, but did not hold the charge more than 24 hours, and now all I see is the logo.

Same issue. Only showing the fitbit symbol. And this morning there was a red x on the screen. It briefly showed the normal face and the fitbit logo. Been like this all day

I’m having a similar problem with my Charge 5. It seems like it is trying to start but cannot. I’ve tried restarting it and doing a factory reset but I can’t, the watch just won’t start and then I get a red circle with a X. It is just out of warranty. Help!

Same issue. Practically bricked. The HR stopped working on Monday. I’ve reset it a number of times. Now it burns through the battery in hours, randomly shows the watch screen, and still no sleep or HR data. I bought mine on Amazon, but apparently it was through an unauthorized reseller, so Fitbit won’t honor the warranty. It’s only 8mos old.

I’m thoroughly fed up. I’ve been a loyal user for almost a decade. 🤯

Same issue.. just have Fitbit logo. Tried a reset numerous times. Had enough, bought a Garmin. By the way you get 10% off electricals at Argos by putting a discount code in, but offer finishes 04/06/24. Recent changes to Fitbit clearly appears to have failed

Ordered a samsung 6 classic from Costco. If it stops working, regardless of warranty status, I can take it and the receipt to any Costco for a full refund. No more annual fitbit bricks.

Update 

I contacted the Swedish custom service and after trying to do a factory reset (?) without any result they said I could order a new. 

If I get the same problem within a year (again) I will NOT get a new Fitbit...
