Sadly yet another Fitbit Charge 5 has given up. This is the second Charge 5 and the previous 3 Charge 3 all went the same way. Yes Fitbit keep supplying replacement 'pebbles' but I've had enough now and feel maybe it's time to change to a Garmin and hopefully that might last longer that 1 or 2 years at most. Very disappointed!!

I agree with you! I had my Charge 5 for just a year and it stopped working after it fell out of warranty. I had worn it while swimming (although it was within the functioning range), and it stopped working. I wrote to customer service several times only to be told that even if they state it should work, they can't do anything as it was not within the warranty period. So essentially, the product does not live up to its promise but Fitbit will not replace my charge 5. Beyond disappointed. I was also considering the Garmin, did you end up buying it?
