My experience with Customer Service and Fitbit Warranty Polices

I bought myself a Charge 5 as christmas present last year. Last week, the screen started to malfunction. Searched the community for solution, tried restarting and the whole screen blacked out. Raised the case through live chat and was told a replacement will be on its way. It has been over a week and there’s no response. I send a follow up email and the case was closed!? What is going on here? Is this warranty fake?
