I purchased my Fitbit Charge 5 back in June of 2022. I’ve enjoyed the product until yesterday. I wore it into the dry sauna at the gym after my workout. I was in the sauna 15 minutes and noticed my Fitbit had a blank screen later. I trouble shot the problem with a Fitbit customer service rep. Nothing worked. The rep told me my Fitbit had a one year manufacturer warranty. However, the seller I purchased the Fitbit from on Amazon was not an approved seller so they could do nothing. Amazon also told me they could do nothing. I’m left with no working Fitbit and no help with purchasing a new one. I’ve made many purchases on Amazon over the years and have never experienced this frustration until now. I use an iPhone.

Hello @Aainphx and welcome to the Community. I'm sorry about your experience. I can't change things for you, but I can give you a little explanation. Amazon is a marketplace site. Many items are sold by Amazon and many are sold by third party sellers. An item must be listed as Shipped and Sold by Amazon for Fitbit's warranty coverage. Did you buy an additional warranty when you bought your Charge 5?
With respect to your dry sauna experience, you don't list the temperature. A dry sauna temperature can be over 150°F. This exceeds the Charge 5 operating temperature range. Charge 5 specifications Fitbit specifically says not to wear in in a sauna or hot tub.
