I don't really know where to leave this but I need to rant.

My Fitbit died while I was swimming not even a year into owning it, so straight onto Fitbit support who said they'd replace it. After sending them all the information I got an email saying they will not send me a replacement with no further information as to why and to go to the shop i bought it.

The shop tried contacting Fitbit but they would not talk to them as they were not the one purchaching it. I call again support who once again said they can replace it but after a few days got told that because of the location I would not receive a new watch and then no further communication.

Thanks to the shop I bought it from they gave me a refund after over a week of faff because Fitbit Support just left me high and dry without any further communication.

So I will not be returning to them. Garmin here I come.

Hi @SunsetRunner could be your store wasn't an authorized retailer, according to Fitbit. Sometimes people purchase items through third party sellers, which is one reason a Fitbit device might not have a warranty. That's probably why support told you to talk to the shop where it was bought.
