I am trying to update my Charge 5, so I can use the lastest Watch faces I see in the gallery. I have updated the app on my phone, followed all possible trouble-shooting steps, and still the app just hangs when it tries to check for a Charge 5 upgrade, with the fitbit logo flashing on and off.
I contacted customer support, and they are absolutely no help at all; all they have done is tell me (twice) I cannot get a new watch under warranty -- which is not something I ever asked for. I just want help in getting their app top work so I can upgrade my C5.

Sorry to see that you're having issues with updating your Charge 5 and didn't get any help from CS.
Have you already tried doing a Fitbit app force stop and clear the cache using the App settings on your phone?
