Not registering stairs anymore

Since a long time ago, my Charge 5 does not register stairs. Have restarted it several times as you recommend. But it still doesn't show the number of steps in stairs. Is there something wrong with the Charge 5???

Charge 5 never did track stairs climbed and never will.  It does not have the required hardware altimiter so cannot be added, even with firmware update.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
