Not registering steps on iphone Charge 5

My Charge 5 stopped syncing last night and I had to set it up again. Now, my steps are registering on my Fitbit but it no longer displays on my iphone

Hi, thank you for sharing this information about the inconvenience you've been experiencing with your Charge 5, @yvonnewalker

Before considering other options, I recommend that you try restarting the device using the three pulse restart method described here below: 

  1. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  2. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times (end of the USB cable), pausing for 1 second between presses. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.

In addition to the restart, let me know if you already tried all the steps listed here to resolve syncing problems. In case there's a problem related to the app, please try the following steps as well: 

  • Log out from the app.
  • Clear Cache for the Fitbit app on your phone's settings. 
  • Open the Settings app again > Choose Apps > Choose Fitbit app > Tap on "Force Stop". 
  • Restart your phone. 
  • Log back in to check if you're able to see your data. 
  • If you're still having trouble, try turning the Bluetooth Off and On and sync your device again.
