Rollerblading support Charge 5

Hello!

Is there a way to make rollerblading a quick start exercise, similar to running or cycling? Since it is a manually enterable activity it seems like it would just be adding an icon and a few other things?

Best,

Chompy

Hi, welcome to the Community forums, @chompy_the_dog.

Thank you for sharing your inquiry regarding the option to have Rollerblading added to the Charge 5 as an exercise shortcut.

This would be a helpful implementation for users who practice this exercise. I recommend that you vote for this idea posted in the Feature Suggestion board of the Community, since this section is regularly monitored by the team of developers: Add Rollerblading or Skating/Ice skating as exercise

This is really helpful for the team of developers to track popularity and demand over time.

Thankyou DavideFitbit!

Is there an easy way to even get a cardio profile that just tracks my distance via gps, speed, heart rate, and calories?

@chompy_the_dog No problem, thank you for your reply!

Not all of the stats you mentioned earlier would be available if you use the "Workout" option. After you tap the exercise to choose it, if GPS is available, an icon appears at the top of the screen as it tries to connect to a satellite. Keep in mind that only activities where you cover physical distance offer GPS tracking (which provides a route map and pace).

I haven't tested my Charge 5 while performing this specific activity (Rollerblading), but I know that for all types of exercises except the obvious ones where you are either swimming or on a bike, it will usually track steps and distance, but keep in mind that GPS is only available with a few activities. While using Workout as a shortcut, you do receive calories, heart rate information and active zone minutes.

You can find some additional information on how to track your activities here as well.

See you around. 😁
