Pace after runs only showing 1 lap with random distance and time?

After my runs (outdoors) and walks, when i go to the excercise after im done.. for laps it just says Lap 1 and a random time and distance

been doing this for weeks now.. anyone else????

Hi! Is there any update on this? Like many in this forum, one of the main reasons I use my Fitbit is to track my mileage via laps when running. The fact that this function is failing in terms of average pace per every mile almost doesn’t make it worthwhile wearing it while running. I have a 10k on Sunday and it’s such a shame I’m not going to see the breakdown of every mile accurately on my watch (see circled element in black). It’s really disappointing because this is enough for me to look elsewhere on the smartwatch market. It’s so strange because the watch is picking up my overall average. I just don’t get it!

Happy to report that my run this evening tracked lap times correctly 👍🏻

However the amount of time this has taken and disregard Fitbit appear to have for their customers means I will be looking elsewhere when the time comes to replace my charge 5

Having the total exercise time round to the nearest whole number is awful. As far as I can tell its the only product that does this.

Agree, and clearly another app issue as the summary provided on the watch at the end of a run gives minutes and seconds

Hi everyone! Thank you for updating the thread with your pictures , updates and new symptoms. 
I've passed all this to our team, even if I haven't confirmed it here until now.

When tracking runs, the pace section is using my total miles on main screen to give the mile pace, not the run miles. I think the algorithm is looking at wrong distance.

Has this been solved for anyone yet??? Mine is still not showing correct laps /paces for months now. But instead of just one lap with some random split time, it’s now showing several with random times. Screenshot attached from recent run where my actual distance was just 3.4 miles.

Although it shows miles I think it’s measuring km.  mine will not now measure in miles. Hope this helps

I gladly report your findings to our team, so that they take this into consideration in their investigation.

Hello,  is this issue any closer to being resolved?  My 8 mile run has been broke down into 14 laps.  Most confusing.   I have a Verse 4.  Thankyou

When is this going to get fixed?  All of my runs show completely inaccurate laps. Even past runs have been recalculated. This never was a problem until I upgraded my app several months ago. Now I can’t even use Fitbit to track and evaluate my runs. It totally went back and recalculated my half marathon run in Jan of 2024. In one part of the run it says 13.6 miles but then it splits it over 22 laps each a mile long with an unrealistic pace! I should qualify for the Boston Marathon!  It’s been months and I keep following the updates with no fix. 
Really so unhappy with the service & response or lack thereof from Fitbit.
