Phone watch not syncing Charge 5

My Fitbit app is not syncing with my watch. Has not synced since 12.46 today. Have tried syncing etc and it looks like it is stuck. How to I sync please

Thank you for sharing this information about the trouble you've been having with your Charge 5. 

Before considering other options, let me know if you already tried all the steps listed here to resolve syncing problems, as they have been useful for other users having similar problems. 

In addition, please make sure to check the compatibility requirements listed here and to keep the Fitbit app updated to the latest version available.
