Hi @babylondrifter where did you get the discount code? If you got it from Fitbit, you need to check with them as they usually do not allow someone to get a discount from one device to the newest device.

Got it from fitbit promo email for premium users.

Best Answer@babylondrifter I didn't know they sent it out, so you made me look. Ok, so the coupon is for a free band, not a discount. Try using a different browser? Since Fitbit sent the email, they mean for you to use that code. My code is different. Why not try the code again. If you like Fitbit, why switch to Garmin? I have friends who left Garmin to return to Fitbit. I also had friends who left Apple to return to Fitbit.
There is no place for me to enter the code. I make it all the way to place the order with no where to enter the code.ive tried 4 times now not sure what's wrong I choose pre order then select a sports band 29.95 and go through all the mailing and billing then get to final step which is submitting. No code area pops up at any time.

So followed the instructions and went through the ordering process right up to the page to choose the payment option. No place did I find a spot for a discount code.

Glad to hear that you're a Premium member. I appreciate the troubleshooting performed and the details mentioned. I removed your code entered on your post as this is unique to each user, the promo code can be entered below "Cart Summary". (check out the screenshot attached)
If that's the procedure you're following but still not getting this option, let's try clearing your browser cache and try once again.

Did you click on Checkout to get to the Shipping Address screen? The Promo code box didn't show up until I got to the next screen.

If I hit that submit button will it charge my card. I'll be **ahem**ed if I'm paying 30 bucks for a 1 dollar band

The screenshot you posted is different than the one you're describing, I'm not seeing a submit button in your post with the screenshot.
Did you try using a desktop/laptop to order?

Not the same on the screens I'm seeing, Checkout brings me to the Shipping address screen (which has the Promo code box) after entering the shipping address, the next screen is Shipping method, and the next screen after that is Payment options. After entering the payment options there is a Place order button. I don't see a submit button on any of the screens.
The Promo code box is visible on all the screens after I click Checkout.
I'm using Chrome 92 as my web browser on a Windows 10 laptop, and get the same screens using Edge as my browser.
