My Charge 5 has been a nightmare: it kept switching itself off whenever I was 'exercising' - even walking was enough. It could be switched on again by connecting to charger but turned itself off again after a few minutes if I kept walking. Also weird is that when connected to a charger the screen showed what seed like random battery status - one minute 95% a few minutes later 60% etc etc - made no sense at all.
I tried reset by pressing the button on the charging cable but this seems to do nothing. So I tried a factory reset. Now I can't connect at all. I've tried switching bluetooth on and off but it isn't detected. Its a nightmare! Even if I just want to know the time, it seems useless. Time to revert to an analogue watch!?
what can I do?

This thing is quite unbelievable. I managed to get the charge 5 reconnected to the app after a factory reset. Put to charge and it showed battery at 30%. Put it on, went for a run and - guess what?! it turned itself off. Got home and started up on charger and the battery shows now 97%. I think I have reached the end of the road with Fitbit.

Im on about my 5th replacement, these watches are not fit for purpose, no doubt fitbit will remove my comments but they really are terrible, its a different issue everytime.
