Hi,
Just purchased the Fitbit Charge 5 and very disappointed because I didn’t realize the quick reply feature doesn’t apply to iPhone/iOS phones! When will this feature work for the rest of the world of smartphones??
Also I agree that the clock faces are not good! Used to use the High Stats face and really miss that! Please create one that’s better showing heart rates, miles, steps, calories burned all on ONE screen so you don’t have to scroll.
Lastly, how does one go quickly back to the Home Screen when they are in the middle of all the different screens? I used to just click the side button and it would go right back to Home but the button is no longer there….now if you’re exercising, you have to stop and scroll scroll scroll scroll until you finally get to Home Screen! What an Inconvenience!!!!

hmm, seems Google is leaning in toward their own products. From everything I can gather in the community, the 5 appears less than fully baked and missing previous features and/or availability to all platforms. pity

Hi @MM123456,
Fitbit doesn't usually announce when things like "Quick Replies" will be available to all users, so it's anybody's guess when or if that will happen. If I had to guess, it has something to do with Apple not wanting to share part of their platform to allow the "Quick Replies" to work. Apple is very proprietary with their programs, whereas Android is not, which is probably why Quick Replies was released there first.

Hello @MM123456
You can usually double-tap to get back to the home screen. I've found it's easier to tap at the corners of the screen to avoid setting something else off. There can be a knack to it, so it's worth practicing a bit.
Also it's possible to scroll backwards and forwards between screens. Sometimes it's quicker to try going to opposite way if you're not trying to get to the clock.

As @DramaQueenDiva mentions here, the issue unfortunately is with Apple itself and it's unwillingness to open it's platform in a fair and equal way to 3rd parties. I would suggest contacting Apple to voice your dissatisfaction with their platform and the way they control users phones. Until they allow 3rd parties to access the relevant permissions, there is very little Fitbit or any other manufacturer can do.

Hi, welcome to the Community forums, @MM123456.
Thank you for sharing all your inquiries about the Charge 5.
As it was mentioned by other users, unfortunately it's not possible to provide any other updates regarding the Quick Replies feature for iOS for the moment. Keep in mind the implementation of this feature depends not only on Fitbit, but on Apple as well. I do recommend that you vote for this idea posted in the Feature Suggestion board of the Community: Quick Replies for iOS Devices. Although this feature is Not Currently Planned, this is always useful for the team of developers to continue to track popularity and demand over time.
Regarding the clock faces available for Charge 5, the team continues to work to add more features. the best place to make your voice heard is our Feature Suggestion board, you may want to vote and comment on the following ideas, they are reviewed by our team and the status will change depending on Fitbit's plans.
- More clock faces for the Charge 5
- Charge 5: Customize clock faces colors
- Clock face stats without scrolling Charge 5
As per the option to return to the main screen, as @Wibby explained earlier, you can just double tap on the screen to go back to it, or if you just want to return to the previous screen you were on, you can swipe right on the screen using your finger.
Thank you again for sharing all your feedback about the product.
Have a great day.
