Hi I have upgraded to a charge 5 as my previous Fitbit broke.
I deleted the app and reinstalled it and now when I am trying to register it won’t allow me as it says that my email address is already in use.
any help would be greatly appreciated,

Sounds like you are trying to create a new Fitbit account. Don't. Just log into your old account with same email and password and all your data will still be there.
