I was sent a replacement Charge 5. Upon first opening and removing plastic films to plug in and charge up the device it will not charge. The face stays black. I tried pushing the tab on the power cord three times and got no pulsing/vibration. I looked at the device to make sure I removed all the plastic covers, and it looks like I have so do not understand why it will not charge up. I have looked for answers on the community page and see lots of problems and frustration with the Charge 5 and no answers to my problem. Putting off calling the customer service/help desk because I feel they are going to request me to go through the same steps I have already gone through. Any helpful suggestions from the community would be appreciated.

@Gmaries Thank you for confirming that you're experienced this problem with the replacement unit your received.
Could you please confirm if you're still having this problem? Keep in mind that it's recommended to charge the device for a couple of hours when you're using it for the first time. In addition, let me know if you already tried all the steps listed in this article.
I'll be around.
