Screen locked on home page overwriting something about Set up on phone to get started open the fitbi

My screen won’t move off from the home screen and is overwritten with the message “setup on phone to get started open the Fitbit mobile app”. WTF

Hi, @Rob1000 , is your Fitbit new?  Have you set it up?  Please log in to your Fitbit app, click on the person icon/photo top left to take you to the account screen and find “set up a device”.  Choose your device (presumably Charge 5) and follow the prompts from there.

Sense, Charge 5, Inspire 2; iOS and Android

Not new this is a charge 5 Ive had for not quite a year and the watch screen is what is locked up. It has since gone completely black.
