Sleep readiness score

My readiness score pretty much always says 100 or close to it. In particular it says my recent sleep has been high, even when I've averaged around three hours a night for weeks (I know I know...). Why is this? I quite clearly haven't had a high amount of recent sleep lol and it knows this. It's a bit frustrating.

I would start here, with how the readiness score is calculated. It's based on your sleep, your Heart Rate Variability (HRV) when sleeping and your recent activity. The daily score recommends a range of active zone minutes for your day's activities/exercise. If you're consistently below the recommended range, your readiness score will be high.

Thank you! That part of the readiness score makes sense. I am just confused by the recent sleep element which always shows as high (the bar is almost full), when my average sleep hours in the app are around half of my target. Thank you though.

Sorry @Airedale191 . That would be confusing. Have you looked at the sleep score details? The sleep score is based on sleep quality, duration and sleeping heart rate. From your comments, your sleep score should not be high, since sleep duration is the biggest factor in your score.

I have seen others have a similar problem, and I can only offer a couple suggestions to try. I would:

  • Clear the cache for your mobile device's fitbit app. This is typically under the mobile devices settings. For Android, it's under Settings, Apps, Fitbit, Storage, Clear Cache.
  • Restart your Fitbit tracker

If that doesn't help, you may need to reach out to Fitbit support.
