Solved - heart rate not showing on exercise map

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Finally figured out why my Charge 5 wasn’t showing my heart rate on the exercise map.

I had been starting the app at the same time I was starting my walk on my watch.

Nope!!! For what ever reason it doesn’t work when you use both.

Now I just start my walk on my Fitbit and don’t touch my phone until I finish my walk on my Fitbit . Everything works fine now.

My phone is an IPhone 11

@Rameyafb   I want to add some insight to your experience to help other users.  When you wrote that you were starting your walks on the app, it sounds like you were using a feature Fitbit calls MobileRun.  You start this feature by tapping on the "+" sign on the Exercise tile on the mobile app and your choices are walk, run, and hike.  This is a very old feature for older, legacy devices that don't have an exercise app.  It was the only way I could get a map with my Fitbit One and Charge HR.  It used to give the heart rate trace with my Charge HR.  A bug appeared in MobileRun a few years ago and the heart rate stopped tracking.  Fitbit chose not to fix the bug.  All current devices at the time had the Exercise app on the device and had built in or connected GPS.

How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?
