Start Weight Not Saving Charge 5

In the settings.  Will not save my current / start weight.  I keep getting an error.

Thanks for sharing this information about the issue you're experiencing to enter your information. 

 

Could you please confirm what is the error message that you're receiving? In the meantime please follow these steps and try to save your weight information again: 

 

  • Log out from the app.
  • Clear Cache for the Fitbit app on your phone's settings (Settings > Apps > Fitbit app > Storage > Clear cache)
  • Restart your phone. 
  • Log back in to check if you're able to see your information. 
  • Try to set up your Charge 5 as a new device in your account if you're still having the same problem.
  • Make sure the Fitbit app and your phone's operating system are updated to the latest version available.

Will this wipe out all the weigh-ins since January 2023?  I’ve already lost the amount of weight lost. It shows the graph but does not calculate the accumulated pounds lost. 
will I have to manually enter the past 3 months of weigh-ins?

@TysonPitt Thanks for your reply and for the clarification. 

Could you please provide a few more details about the error you're receiving and provide us with a screenshot as well, if possible? 

@1sassylady2 The steps mentioned earlier should not delete any of your information, all your data is stored in your account and you should be able to access it using your e-mail address. 

Could you please share a screenshot as well of where the amount of pounds lost is missing?
