I've been having an issue with the tap-able stats changing on their own. I am currently using the Slashed watch face so it shows two changeable stats and heart rate. For a couple of days I had no trouble, then yesterday it started acting up again. The first time it changed stats twice within a twenty minute period. And I was sitting at my desk writing, longhand, in a journal. The screen shouldn't have even been active yet the stats changed. Then later they changed again, while doing an EDA scan. When I started it I was on the Active Minutes/Steps stats, and after the scan was done the watch face showed Calories/Distance.
I have to say, this changing by itself behavior also happened on my Luxe. I'm not sure what is causing it, but it is getting pretty annoying. I have tried restarting the devices through the menus as well as through the button on the charging cable. Surprisingly, changing the watch face seems to make the most difference. But as mentioned above, that might only correct the concern for a couple of days. Is anyone else seeing this? Or better yet, any fixes for it?
Thanks!

Hi @JeremyKrall.
Unfortunately I haven't got any fixes for it (unless you'd accept turning off auto screen wake). Really Fitbit could solve this by adding a screen lock feature (something users have been asking for years).
I may have an explanation as to why its happening though. If you wear long sleeves it's possible the screen is waking (on arm movement) and your sleeve is then making contact with the screen and swiping it.

Thanks for the thought N8teGee. As this is an issue with tapping, I don’t think my sleeve would be hitting the screen hard enough to do that. And I have seen it mostly with short sleeves on. But that could possibly cause a swiping issue.
If I understand your comment about a lock feature (not swiping, tapping, or turning on unless you want it) the Luxe and Charge 5 might have something that works. There is a Sleep Mode that turns off the screen and you have to double tap to wake it up. The initial purpose was so that you aren’t blinded at night when you move in your sleep. Unfortunately for me, using the FitBit as a watch first and foremost, I have the screen always on and this wouldn’t work. But it just could be what you are looking for to prevent unintentional screen interactions.
