While on a walk, have you counted the steps taken?
A couple of thoughts
GPS will only be on when taking a walk, run, hike, bike, or outdoor workout.
Step counting should be the most accurate durring walk and run.
Question, when is the step count off? And in what direction?

but what about accuracy?
if I am comparing with my Iphone step counter there is Data discrepancy of 2000 steps approximately

Discrepancy of 2000 steps, in what direction?
Is the phone always with you?
Is the phone in your pocket at all times?
During a walk, have you counted the steps taken? I count every left step and times two.
Keep track, with a speadshhet for a month or several months. Then compare.

Hi I'm having same issue as purchased charge 5 today and affer setting up shows I took 128 steps as walkin downstairs Any tips to amend this?

HONESTLY, this isn't good experience for me as new to Fitbit as already having issues and not even been 24HRS and support chat seem no help. I do understand it maybe unusual case bur surely we not The only one experiencing this. ALSO not allowing to add device pin!!!!!!
