Steps not moving

Upgraded for 4 to 5 and the process has been horrible. Now my steps haven’t moved in 30 minutes. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app. 6 times. It’s up to date. The charge 5 steps have not moved since the update after taking it out of the box.

hey there @Wings9798 - is the app not updating with steps, meaning it isn't synching or is the tracker not updating with steps? if it is the latter you may want to restart your tracker. Here are the steps to restart your tracker: 

Restart Charge 5
  1. Connect Charge 5 to the charging cable. For instructions, see Charge your tracker .
  2. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times, pausing for 1 second between presses. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.

Thanks it’s the latter. The tracker wasn’t updating. I was in a store so
maybe that’s why? Thanks for the instructions on how to reset the tracker.
