Still receiving notifications when Do Not Disturb is activated

When I put my charge 5 on Do Not Disturb mode I will still occasionally receive notifications about calls/texts. I've tried turning the DND mode off and on again a few times but will still receive a few notifications. This mainly happens in little bursts and is usually in the evenings. Just a bit confused why they are still coming through while DND is activated.
