My Fitbit must have fallen off my wrist at Walmart yesterday (only place I went). I thought I just forgot to put it on after I showered just before going to Walmart.. but after searching everywhere, no luck… I check my phone and it is no longer connected to Bluetooth so I try and no luck connecting, I was able to sync my phone on the app and now I see the person who stole it racking up steps.. at 1pm today (when I first synced) they had 235 steps, 2pm = 766 steps and now at 4pm they are up to 3,650 steps.
How am I able to sync my phone to the Fitbit without the Bluetooth connected? Anyone know? And is there anyway for me to see location? I tried starting a workout so activate the map.. but no luck just showing my phones location on there

Hello @Lisa.OMeara
If the Fitbit app on your phone synced with your missing Charge 5, that means the device is within Bluetooth range, approximately 30 feet.
By any chance, did you set up your phone as a connected device in the Fitbit app? You can check by tapping the device icon in the upper left of the Today page. Do you see Phone under Devices on the Connected to Fitbit page? If so, the steps you're seeing are the ones from your phone and not the Fitbit device.
