Fitbit charge 5 has been on the blink, randomly changing the time. Then today put on charge and it won’t connect just got a flashing Fitbit logo and after resetting an x with a red circle. Have they changed the software, so they break so I buy another one? This is my 2nd one, fed up. Anyone else had this?

I am having the same problem. I went to charge it today and noticed it was just blinking the logo and not responding. Eventually it stops blinking if I leave it on the charger and it can sync to the app but I can't get the screen to turn on, unless I change the clock face - it shows a loading bar while it loads the new clock but then goes back to black screen and unresponsive. It doesn't respond to a reset using the charging cable. I have no idea what to do but it is extremely frustrating.

Hello @Ash995

One user was able to get their Charge 5 working again after exposing it to freezer temps. Here's the thread (<-- click link) where the user provided the details. Although there's no guarantee that this will work for you, it might be worth trying.

If that doesn't work, the next step would be contacting Support (<-- click link). Depending on how long you've owned your Charge 5, you might have some options under warranty.
