Swim killed my charge 5?

I set my charge 5 in swim mode before I started my work out, and haven't been able to use it since. Shortly after I got out of the pool, my Fitbit began vibrating and never stopped until I guess it ran out of battery. The display wouldn't light up while it vibrated either. I saw some condensation in the sensors on the back of it, so I let it dry for a few days before trying anything else with it. When I felt sure it should be fine, I connected it to the charger, it buzzed for a second, and now it just flashes the Fitbit logo and doesn't do anything else. There isn't a tile for it in my menu, it doesn't appear to connect with Bluetooth, I tried deleting and reinstalling the app, cleaning the sensors and pins with alcohol, turning my phone off and on, the reset with the button on the charging cable... Nothing works.

Hi @Nachita - it looks like it suffered irreparable water damage and needs replacing under warranty, if still applicable.

Unfortunately my warranty ran out a couple days before this happened. I did try it again yesterday just out of curiosity, and it works now. Just seems that the battery life suffered. It lasted a day and a half rather than a week. I will never bring it in the water again.
