I have a new Fitbit Charge 5 because my Charge 3 display began dimming beyond remedy and also quit syncing at about the same time. For days and days and it was the last straw. Tried a smartwatch but realized i preferred how Fitbit tracked steps and decided to try a 5. Great display. It synced almost step by step for several days and now is proving balky about syncing again. The other day, it wouldn't until I opened it in my tablet, and when my phone realized something else was syncing it began syncing again. For a couple days. Now although the Fitbit says I have taken fewer than 1300 steps for the day, my phone app says I've gone over 20,000. Love it, hate it.
Best Answerupdate update, the tablet still syncs correctly at 10,477., but now the phone is up to 26713 iwith only 4.99 miles listed right below. I know I didn't take tiny tiny steps. As long as one device syncs correctly I can live with this, but why the heck should I have to? This is not a podunk company based in Timbuktu, but is worth 1.88 billion.. My cheap Amazfit Bip S synced fine. What the heck is a Bip S, and why can they do it when Fitbit can't?
